AI-Native Shopify Developer + Designer (Claude Code · Cursor · Figma)

Who We Are We're a fast-moving digital agency building DTC brands across health, wellness, and CPG. Our work right now includes a ground-up custom Shopify build (agentic-first) and ongoing development for a rapidly growing direct-to-consumer brand in the sleep aid space. We're a small, senior, AI-native team, and our designers and developers move at a pace most shops can't match, because the entire workflow is built around modern AI tooling. The Role We're looking for a Swiss-army-knife AI engineer who lives at the intersection of development and design. You can take a Figma file, a brand guide, or just a couple of inspiration sites and a concept, and bring it to life as a polished, performant Shopify storefront. You're not AI-curious; you run your day inside an AI-assisted pipeline, and you're fast, precise, and self-directed. If Claude Code and Cursor are already extensions of your hands, keep reading. If you still hand-code everything line by line with no AI in the loop, this isn't the fit. Our Stack / Pipeline Claude Code + Cursor: agentic development, our core workflow GitHub: version control and collaboration Shopify: custom themes, Liquid, sections/blocks, headless where it makes sense (primary focus) Figma: design handoff and our in-house design systems Slack: fast async and real-time communication Some clients on Webflow and custom Vercel / Next.js builds What You'll Do Build and ship custom Shopify themes and storefronts from Figma designs and brand/style guides Translate inspiration sites and rough concepts into production-ready UI with strong design judgment Move quickly inside our AI dev pipeline (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub) Collaborate live with our designers and developers on Slack, keeping pace with a team that ships daily Jump onto Webflow and Vercel/Next.js projects as needed Own the details: responsive, fast-loading, pixel-aware, conversion-minded Must-Haves Strong Shopify development: Liquid, theme architecture, sections/blocks, custom functionality Real design ability. You can execute a Figma file faithfully and make smart calls when the file isn't fully baked Fluent, daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent agentic workflows) Comfortable in Git / GitHub Front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JS, responsive design Fast, clear communication on Slack Self-directed and reliable.
