Native iOS Developer — Rebuild Existing Web App as Native iOS App (Swift/SwiftUI)

We’re looking for an experienced iOS developer to rebuild our existing, fully-functional web app as a native iOS application. The product is a sports/social app with a competitive ranking system and location-based features. We already have a working mobile-first web app and a production backend with a REST API — this is a rebuild, not a greenfield project. We need a true native iOS app, not a WebView wrapper or hybrid solution. Scope: ∙ Approximately 10-12 screens, all of which already exist in our web app ∙ Native iOS conventions: navigation, gestures, haptics, native maps (MapKit) ∙ Integration with our existing REST API backend ∙ Phone number + SMS verification code authentication (no passwords, no social logins) ∙ Push notifications, location services, photo upload ∙ App Store submission including TestFlight beta We have an established design system and a full feature spec that the selected candidate will receive.
