Need Product Manager for Social Media Content Platform
Worldwide
We're a social media / video content agency that built our own content production platform — a web app our team and clients use to run content end to end: idea → script → shoot → edit → approval → publish → analytics. The app works and ships weekly, but it's grown fast: the workflow "feels off" in places, priorities compete, and nobody owns the product day-to-day except the founder. We're looking for a product manager to change that. Phase 1 — the audit (your trial project): Walk the app's core flows (content pipeline, card detail, client approval, calendar) as each type of user and identify friction, dead ends, and confusing moments Sit in on how our agency team actually uses it day to day Deliver a prioritized findings report: what's off, why, and concrete fixes — plus what you'd cut. Annotated screenshots are enough; no polished mockups needed 1–2 calls with the founder to walk through findings and pressure-test the roadmap Phase 2 — ongoing (if we both want it): Own the backlog in Linear: turn founder direction, team feedback, and your audit into clear, prioritized, build-ready issues our dev team can execute without a meeting Keep projects on track — sequencing, scope, follow-through — and keep priorities honest against the product vision Run a monthly session watching our production team use the app; turn friction into tickets Keep an eye on similar tools in the market (we'll send you what we spot; you tell us what matters) Short weekly written update to the founder: shipped / in flight / decisions needed Must have: 3+ years product management on web SaaS, working directly with engineers (Linear, Jira, or similar) Experience with workflow-heavy products — project management, production pipelines, approval flows Can articulate the "why" behind every recommendation and priority call, not just process tickets Nice to have (moves you to the top of the pile): You've worked inside or built tools for content/creative teams or agencies — you understand producers, editors, and client-approval dynamics Hands-on familiarity with video/social content production (edit workflows, review-and-approval, publishing, analytics) UX audit or product design chops To apply: skip the cover letter. Send (1) one or two examples of workflow/dashboard products you've managed or audited, (2) a short note on how you'd approach the audit, and (3) one sentence on the last piece of content production you were personally close to.
