I’m looking for a hands-on tutor to teach me a practical set of modern technical skills from the ground up. I have ZERO Python and SQL experience. I need a hands-on tutor to teach me coding fundamentals (how to read code, write queries, and debug) by building a real, complex AI project together. I want to learn the syntax just-in-time as we build an actual matching engine using modern AI dev tools. The Environment Setup (Day 1 Focus): I want to use the bleeding edge of AI coding tools. At each step, you must teach me the underlying code: Data Extraction (Apify/Playwright): The Build: Pull IG and booking data via APIs to bypass anti-bot walls. What you teach me: Python basics—variables, dictionaries, parsing JSON, and making API requests. Entity Resolution (LLM-as-a-judge): The Build: Use Claude to probabilistically merge messy identities across platforms. What you teach me: Python functions, passing arguments, and API error handling. Intent Signal Scoring: The Build: Force Claude to output strict JSON scores from unstructured bio text. What you teach me: Python loops, data structures, and reading error logs when code breaks. Hybrid Matching Engine (SQL + Vector): The Build: Match users using hard location constraints + vibe matching. What you teach me: SQL from zero. How to write SELECT, WHERE, JOIN statements, and how a database connects to Python logic. Outreach Generation: The Build: A prompt-chaining agent that writes and critiques messages. What you teach me: Structuring larger Python scripts and debugging multi-step logic. How we should work: AI-Assisted Prototyping: All work happens in Cursor/Claude Code. You will teach me how to prompt the AI to generate code, but more importantly, how to read and understand the code it writes.
