# Kafka Microservices Backend Developer We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in **Apache Kafka** and **microservices architecture** to join our development team. ## Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain event-driven microservices. * Build and optimize Kafka producers and consumers. * Implement asynchronous communication between services using Apache Kafka. * Design scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance backend systems. * Integrate REST APIs with Kafka-based workflows. * Implement retry mechanisms, dead-letter queues (DLQ), and message validation. * Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions. * Troubleshoot and optimize distributed systems. ## Required Skills * Strong experience with Apache Kafka. * Experience building microservices using Java (Spring Boot), Node.js (NestJS/Express), or similar backend frameworks. * Experience with REST APIs and asynchronous messaging. * Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. * Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. * Understanding of event-driven architecture and distributed systems. * Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines. ## Nice to Have * Experience with AWS (Lambda, ECS, EKS, SQS, SNS). * Experience with Redis. * Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. * Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code. ## Project Type * Ongoing development and maintenance. * Long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
