React + GIS + Azure Developer with AI Integration – Full-Time (1 Month) Project Overview We are building a GIS-based siting and infrastructure planning dashboard that combines: • Interactive geospatial visualization • Large-scale data handling • Cloud deployment on Azure • AI-powered (agentic) workflows for geospatial insights We are looking for a skilled React developer who can work full-time for 1 month and has hands-on experience with map-based applications, Azure, and AI integrations. Responsibilities Frontend & GIS Development • Build modern UI components using React • Develop a map-centric dashboard for geospatial analysis • Integrate ArcGIS Maps SDK / Mapbox / Leaflet • Implement map features: layers, filters, tooltips, overlays Data Integration • Integrate REST APIs and large datasets • Work with GeoJSON / spatial datasets • Optimize performance for data-heavy applications Cloud & Deployment (Azure) • Work with Azure Blob Storage / Data Lake • Deploy and manage applications on Azure • Handle hosting, configurations, and performance AI Integration (Important) • Integrate AI-driven workflows into GIS applications • Build features like: o Natural language → map queries o Automated site insights / recommendations • Work with LLM APIs and backend orchestration Tech Stack • Frontend: React JS (mandatory) • Mapping: ArcGIS Maps SDK / Mapbox / Leaflet • Backend: Node.js + Express • Database: MongoDB • Cloud: Microsoft Azure • AI: LLM APIs / agent-based workflows Requirements (Must-Have) • Strong experience in React (2+ years) • Proven experience building GIS / map-based applications • Hands-on experience with mapping libraries (ArcGIS / Mapbox / Leaflet) • Experience working with large datasets • Experience with Azure (storage + hosting + deployment) • Experience integrating AI/LLM features into applications • Full-time availability (8 hours/day) for 1 month • Ability to work independently and deliver quickly Nice to Have • Experience with agent frameworks / AI workflows • Experience in GIS / infrastructure / energy domain • Performance optimization for map-heavy applications • Experience with vector databases / semantic search Duration • Duration: 1 month • Commitment: Full-time Application Instructions (Important) Please include the following in your proposal: • Links to past projects (MANDATORY) o At least one GIS / map-based application o At least one AI-integrated feature/project • Your role in those projects • Technologies used (React + Maps + Azure + AI) • Confirmation of full-time availability • Brief explanation of: o A map-based feature you built o An AI feature you implemented Applications without relevant project links will not be considered.
