NetSuite Developer / SuiteScript Developer

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced NetSuite Developer to support ongoing NetSuite customizations, scripting, integrations, and system enhancements. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with SuiteScript 2.0/2.1, Suitelets, User Event Scripts, Client Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, Map/Reduce Scripts, workflows, saved searches, and NetSuite integrations. You will work closely with our internal business and systems team to understand requirements, develop scalable solutions, troubleshoot issues, and improve existing NetSuite processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain NetSuite custom scripts using SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 Create and enhance Suitelets, User Event Scripts, Client Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, and Map/Reduce Scripts Customize NetSuite records, forms, fields, workflows, and saved searches Support NetSuite integrations with external systems using RESTlet, SOAP, REST Web Services, or middleware platforms Troubleshoot script errors, performance issues, and system defects Review existing customizations and recommend improvements Assist in testing, deployment, and documentation of NetSuite solutions Work with functional users to clarify requirements and propose technical solutions Required Skills: - Strong experience with NetSuite development and SuiteScript Knowledge of SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 - Experience with Suitelets, User Event, Client, Scheduled, and Map/Reduce scripts - Familiarity with NetSuite workflows, saved searches, custom records, and custom fields - Experience with RESTlets, REST Web Services, or third-party integrations - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize existing scripts - Good understanding of NetSuite ERP processes such as Sales Order, Purchase Order, Inventory, Billing, Accounting, and Fulfillment Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Preferred Skills: NetSuite certifications are a plus Experience with Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, or other integration platforms is a plus Experience with NetSuite OneWorld, WMS, or Advanced Inventory is preferred Familiarity with Git or SDF deployment is a plus
