Network Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Network Engineer to manage and maintain our hosting infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and performance for client websites and online applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in VPS management, SSD hosting environments, server monitoring, troubleshooting, and network security. You will work closely with our development and support teams to maintain stable and secure systems. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain client VPS nodes and SSD hosting environments Work closely with the development team to set up environments and create subdomains when required Coordinate with the support team during downtime incidents and technical escalations Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability Diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues across infrastructure and services Perform network maintenance, system upgrades, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations Monitor system resource utilization, capacity planning, and optimization Follow configuration and change management policies to ensure smooth infrastructure updates Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices and services including: Routers Switches Firewalls Load balancers VPNs Implement security tools, policies, and procedures alongside relevant teams Design and implement business network solutions using standard networking equipment Coordinate with vendors and IT personnel for issue resolution Create and maintain system documentation and network diagrams Required Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of networking fundamentals Experience creating and maintaining network designs Ability to configure and troubleshoot network devices Knowledge of server maintenance and routine network upkeep Experience monitoring and optimizing network performance Understanding of infrastructure security and best practices Ability to conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics independently Experience with capacity planning and infrastructure scaling Strong documentation and communication skills Special Requirements Strong hardware and software knowledge Security-focused mindset Comfortable working with multicultural and international teams Flexible working hours and availability when required Ability to work under pressure during downtime or emergency situations Preferred Experience with hosting companies or web hosting infrastructure Experience managing Linux-based hosting environments Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud infrastructure is a plus If you are passionate about infrastructure, networking, and maintaining high-performance hosting environments, we’d love to hear from you.
