Networking Fundamentals Tutor (Enterprise Networking & CompTIA Network+) About Me I’m looking for an experienced networking professional to teach my brother networking from the ground up. The goal isn’t just to pass a certification it’s to build a solid understanding of how enterprise networks work and develop real troubleshooting skills that translate to the workplace. We’re looking for someone who enjoys teaching and can explain complex concepts in a simple, practical way. What We’re Looking For We want to build a strong foundation in networking, including: * Computer networking fundamentals * OSI Model * TCP/IP * IPv4 & IPv6 * Subnetting (in-depth) * DNS * DHCP * NAT * VPNs * Firewalls * Routers * Switches * VLANs * Trunking * Routing * Wireless networking * Network security fundamentals * Common ports and protocols * Packet flow * Reading and understanding network diagrams * Enterprise network troubleshooting * Real-world networking scenarios The long-term objective is to be prepared for the CompTIA Network+ certification while gaining practical knowledge that can be applied in real enterprise environments. Preferred Teaching Style We’re looking for someone who can: * Explain concepts clearly and patiently * Use real-world examples * Provide hands-on labs * Assign practice exercises * Give quizzes to reinforce learning * Review mistakes and explain how to improve * Teach professional troubleshooting methods used in enterprise IT Hands-on learning is strongly preferred over lecture-based teaching. We want to understand why networks work the way they do not simply memorize answers for an exam.
