Summary

Mission Help launch, scale, and monetize a new email newsletter into a sustainable audience and revenue channel. You will work closely with our internal team, leveraging AI-powered Marketing and GTM Engineering capabilities to accelerate subscriber growth, increase reader engagement, and establish repeatable monetization strategies. Your success will be measured by business outcomes rather than completed tasks. Outcomes You Will Own 1. Build a High-Quality Subscriber Base * Develop and execute strategies that consistently increase qualified newsletter subscribers. * Improve subscriber acquisition efficiency across organic, referral, partnership, and paid channels. * Establish scalable acquisition systems that continue delivering subscriber growth. 2. Increase Audience Engagement * Improve key engagement metrics including open rates, click-through rates, reader retention, and subscriber activity. * Develop content strategies, segmentation models, and publishing cadence that maximize reader value and engagement. * Continuously optimize newsletter performance through experimentation and data analysis. 3. Establish Sustainable Newsletter Monetization * Build and execute a practical monetization roadmap. * Identify and secure sponsorship, advertising, affiliate, or premium subscription opportunities. * Generate recurring revenue while maintaining audience trust and content quality. 4. Create a Repeatable Growth Engine * Build documented acquisition, engagement, and monetization processes that can scale. * Recommend tools, workflows, and automation that improve operational efficiency. * Maximize the effectiveness of AI-powered GTM Engineering and marketing platforms. 5. Drive Continuous Improvement Through Data * Define meaningful KPIs and reporting dashboards. * Analyze campaign performance and recommend improvements based on measurable results. * Continuously optimize growth, engagement, conversion, and monetization performance. Success Metrics Success in this role will be evaluated based on measurable improvements in areas such as: * Qualified subscriber growth * Subscriber acquisition cost (where applicable) * Open rate and click-through rate improvements * Subscriber retention and churn reduction * Newsletter engagement * Sponsorship and advertising revenue * Affiliate or subscription revenue * Overall newsletter ROI Required Experience * Proven track record of growing newsletters from launch to scale. * Demonstrated success improving subscriber acquisition and engagement. * Experience building newsletter monetization programs through sponsorships, advertising, affiliate marketing, or subscriptions. * Strong understanding of email marketing platforms, analytics, and audience segmentation. * Ability to make data-driven growth decisions and communicate insights effectively. Preferred Experience * Experience using AI-assisted marketing and GTM Engineering tools. * Background in B2B SaaS, technology, architecture, engineering, or professional services. * Expertise in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, and content strategy.
