We’re looking for a Newsletter Marketing Manager to run point on our entire newsletter operation—from content strategy and production to distribution and performance optimization. ✍️ What You'll Own As the architect and operator of our investor-focused newsletter, you’ll: Run the Newsletter Engine: Own the calendar, production process, and weekly publishing of a longform (~3,000–4,000 word) investor newsletter Lead Editorial Strategy: Map themes, develop outlines, and source founder stories or investment insights Edit + Refine Longform Content: Work with writing partners (or AI agents) to ensure voice, clarity, compliance, and flow Manage Distribution Channels: Use GoHighLevel (GHL) and ConvertKit to manage lists, segmentation, A/B testing, and deliverability Coordinate Contributor Pipeline: Collaborate with our CEO, analysts, and campaign leads to collect story inputs and market insights Drive Growth Loops: Set up referral systems, email-gated lead magnets, and social clip tie-ins to boost subscriber growth Track Performance: Build simple dashboards to monitor open rates, CTR, growth rate, campaign response, and churn 🔍 What We’re Looking For 3–5+ years in newsletter marketing, editorial strategy, or investor content Proven success building or running newsletters (Substack, ConvertKit, GHL, Beehiiv, etc.) Exceptional editorial judgment and ability to polish longform, high-caliber writing Familiarity with investor audiences and capital markets (angel, Reg CF, VC) Operational mindset: can systematize content creation, feedback, and publishing Comfort working with AI tools (GPT, Relevance AI) to accelerate editorial workflows Bonus: background in finance, startup media, or creator marketing 💻 Tools You'll Use GoHighLevel (GHL) – email marketing, list segmentation, drip campaigns ConvertKit / Substack / Beehiiv – for optional expansion/testing Notion or Airtable – editorial calendar & workflow Grammarly / ChatGPT / Claude / Jasper – content refinement Fathom / Fireflies – note-taking and insight extraction Google Analytics / GHL Dashboards – performance tracking 📆 Engagement Details Remote + async friendly 5–10 hrs/week (varies by publishing cadence) $1,500–$4,000/month depending on experience and volume Initial 3-month contract with opportunity to expand to editorial lead 🚀 How to Apply Email the following to [insert hiring email]: 1–2 links to newsletters you’ve run (or written for) A paragraph on how you’d structure a weekly investor-focused newsletter Your favorite newsletter of all time (and why) Subject Line: Newsletter Manager – [Your Name]
