Node.js + Supabase + Stripe — Music Label Platform Backend

We are an independent music label. We distribute music to 82 platforms for 31 artists with 148 tracks. We need a backend developer to build our own music distribution platform. WHAT YOU WILL BUILD: REST API — Node.js + Express on Railway Database — PostgreSQL via Supabase (8 tables, RLS) Auth — Supabase Auth with JWT tokens Stripe — 4 subscription plans + webhooks Music delivery — integration with our distributor API Artist payouts — Trolley API (PayPal, ACH, wire) Admin dashboard — Quality Control + release approval Migration — import 31 artists + 51 releases from CSV Storage — Supabase Storage → AWS S3 for audio files Emails — automated notifications via Resend.com REQUIREMENTS: Node.js + Express (2+ years) PostgreSQL / Supabase with Row Level Security Stripe API — subscriptions and webhooks REST API documentation (Postman or Swagger) GitHub private repo HOW WE WORK: 3 milestones. Payment released after each is verified. Milestone 1 (35%) — Railway + Supabase + Auth Milestone 2 (40%) — Stripe + webhooks + emails Milestone 3 (25%) — Release flow + migration DO NOT APPLY IF you need daily supervision, have never worked with payment APIs, or cannot commit to 4 weeks.
