Subject: Specialized Assistance with Non-Circular Gear Tooth Generation I am currently developing a multi-stage transmission project involving custom non-circular elliptical gears. We have the fundamental geometry, pitch curves, and dimensions finalized (see attached drawing), but we are looking for an expert to generate the final tooth profiles to ensure smooth meshing and prevent binding. Our design utilizes a custom analytic pitch curve with 10-degree balancing zones and a 1.3:1 peak ratio. Because of the aggressive transitions, standard gear software is reaching its limits. We are specifically looking for someone with KISSsoft (Module Z9) or similar advanced kinematic modeling capabilities to: Import our custom pitch coordinates. Generate a high-performance involute tooth profile (optimizing profile shift and pressure angles). Provide the final CAD-ready geometry (STEP or high-res DXF) for manufacturing.
