Job Title: Nonprofit Social Media, Grant Content, and Wix Website Manager About the Organization Another Chance for Small Businesses is a nonprofit organization committed to helping struggling and emerging entrepreneurs recover, rebuild, grow, and scale sustainable businesses. We provide grant opportunities, educational resources, business development programs, AI training, business structure guidance, and other support that helps underserved entrepreneurs gain another chance at success. We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager and Wix Website Specialist to manage our nonprofit’s social media presence and maintain the grant-related sections of our Wix website. This is not simply a posting position. We need someone who can manage the entire applicant journey, from discovering the grant on social media to visiting the correct webpage and successfully submitting an application. Primary Responsibilities Social Media and Grant Content • Create and manage a monthly nonprofit social media content calendar. • Develop content announcing and promoting current grant opportunities. • Clearly explain who qualifies and who does not qualify for each grant. • Educate applicants about eligibility, deadlines, required documents, the application process, and recipient selection. • Create content that teaches business owners how to prepare stronger grant applications without guaranteeing approval. • Promote the nonprofit’s programs, workshops, resources, community initiatives, and events. • Create deadline reminders and countdown campaigns that encourage qualified applicants to act immediately. • Write captions, hooks, calls to action, carousel copy, educational posts, and short-form video scripts. • Turn frequently asked grant questions into helpful social media content. • Share grant recipient announcements, testimonials, success stories, community impact, and behind-the-scenes activities. • Respond to basic comments and direct messages using approved organizational guidelines. • Direct followers to the correct grant application, program registration page, or nonprofit resource. Wix Website and Grant Funnel Management • Review and maintain our Wix website, especially all grant-related pages. • Test every grant button, application link, menu link, form, and call to action. • Identify and repair broken, outdated, or incorrect links. • Make sure every social media post, bio link, email link, QR code, and website button directs visitors to the correct destination. • Update grant descriptions, eligibility requirements, deadlines, award amounts, application instructions, and frequently asked questions. • Create or update grant landing pages inside Wix. • Ensure application forms are properly connected, functioning, and collecting the required information. • Confirm form submissions are being delivered to the correct email address or system. • Test confirmation pages and automated confirmation emails. • Remove or archive expired grant opportunities so applicants are not confused. • Clearly mark grants as open, closing soon, closed, under review, or recipient selected. • Update nonprofit program pages as new services, workshops, or opportunities become available. • Check the website on desktop and mobile devices to ensure pages display correctly. • Improve the organization and navigation of grant-related pages. • Make basic text, image, button, form, and layout changes in Wix. • Report any advanced technical issue that requires a developer before making major changes. • Complete a weekly website check to ensure the entire grant application process is working correctly. Grant Applicant Journey The selected freelancer will be responsible for checking the complete journey: 1. A potential applicant sees a social media post. 2. The applicant clicks the call-to-action link. 3. The link opens the correct grant page. 4. The applicant can clearly understand the eligibility requirements. 5. The application button works. 6. The application form submits properly. 7. The information reaches the correct person or system. 8. The applicant receives the correct confirmation or next-step instructions. Content Topics • Current grant announcements. • Who qualifies for our grants. • Who does not qualify. • How to apply. • Common application mistakes. • Documents applicants should prepare. • How to tell a compelling business story. • Grant deadlines and countdown reminders. • Frequently asked questions. • Grant myths and misconceptions. • Nonprofit programs and educational resources. • Small-business recovery and growth strategies. • Community impact and success stories. • Workshops, events, and new initiatives. • Donation, partnership, volunteer, and sponsorship opportunities. This position is about more than creating content or receiving likes. The selected person must educate our community, create urgency around real opportunities, maintain accurate grant information, and ensure qualified applicants can move from social media to a working application without confusion or broken links.
