OTT/Broadcast Streaming & Cloud Operations Engineer

We are looking for a freelance **OTT / Broadcast Streaming & Cloud Operations Engineer** to manage and support live TV channel streaming operations for a digital OTT platform. The role includes configuration, monitoring and technical support of live TV streams, cloud servers, video storage, CDN, EPG, DVR/time-shift infrastructure, and troubleshooting across digital TV environments. **Main Responsibilities:** * Manage live TV channel streams and digital broadcasting workflows. * Configure and monitor SRT, HLS, RTMP, UDP and MPEG-TS streams. * Work with cloud servers, Linux environments, CDN, DNS and video storage. * Support EPG/XMLTV setup and ongoing updates. * Configure and maintain DVR/time-shift related infrastructure. * Monitor stream quality, uptime, packet loss, freeze, black screen and audio issues. * Coordinate with platform vendors, broadcasters and technical teams. * Provide incident reports and operational updates when needed. **Required Skills:** * Experience in OTT, IPTV, broadcast, playout or live streaming operations. * Knowledge of Flussonic or similar media server platforms. * Good understanding of cloud servers, storage, CDN and streaming protocols. * Experience with EPG/XMLTV and live channel monitoring. * Basic Linux and networking knowledge. * Ability to work independently and respond to urgent technical issues. **Nice to Have:** * Experience with OTT / FAST media platforms. * Experience with TV channel operations or digital broadcasting workflows. * Georgian, English and/or Hebrew language skills. **Engagement Type:** This is an ongoing freelance role. We prefer to start with an hourly Upwork contract for the first month, with a planned transition to a monthly retainer after technical fit is confirmed. The monthly retainer will be agreed based on scope, availability, responsibility level and experience.
