Odoo Reporting and Dashboard Specialist

Project Overview We are seeking an experienced Odoo Reporting and Dashboard Specialist to help us develop a practical suite of management reports within our recently implemented Odoo ERP system. The reports will cover key business functions, including: Finance Procurement Sales Inventory and operational performance Role-specific dashboards for managers and employees Our objective is to give each user access to accurate, easy-to-understand information relevant to their responsibilities. Scope of Work The successful freelancer will work with our team to: Review our current Odoo configuration, data structure and reporting requirements Identify the best reporting approach using standard Odoo functionality, Odoo Studio or suitable custom development Build reports for finance, procurement, sales and inventory Develop dashboards for different roles and management levels Create appropriate filters, drill-downs and reporting periods Ensure reports are accurate, practical and easy to maintain Document the reports and provide basic user guidance Recommend improvements to data quality or system configuration where required Example Reporting Requirements Reports may include: Sales performance by customer, product, salesperson, region and period Gross margin and profitability reporting Purchase spend and supplier performance Outstanding purchase and sales orders Inventory levels, movements, ageing and stock availability Financial performance and budget comparisons Key performance indicator dashboards for specific roles A detailed list of required reports will be developed with the appointed freelancer. Required Experience Applicants should have: Strong experience with Odoo ERP Demonstrated experience developing Odoo reports and dashboards Knowledge of Odoo Finance, Sales, Purchase and Inventory modules Experience with Odoo Studio, spreadsheets, pivot tables, SQL or custom reporting tools The ability to translate business requirements into practical reports Strong communication and documentation skills Experience working with distribution, wholesale, inventory or multi-branch businesses would be beneficial. Project Approach We expect the project to be completed in stages: Review and requirements gathering Report and dashboard design Development and testing User review and adjustments Documentation and handover This may lead to ongoing Odoo reporting and system improvement work.
