Office Furniture Salesperson (Inbound Sales) Help businesses build great offices, one client at a time. About Arc Grove Arc Grove sells high-end office furniture to businesses across the US, online at arcgrove.com. Our clients care about design and quality, not low prices. Most orders run from $1,500 to $25,000, and large projects can cost much more. We're a small team. In this job, you're the first person a client talks to, and most of that happens over email. What you'll do You'll help people who reach out to us. There's no cold calling. Clients come to you through email, web forms, live chat, and phone. Your job is to help them, not push them. Here's what we expect: - Reply fast. Answer new leads the same day, and never leave a message unanswered. - Listen first. Learn what the client needs, then suggest the right products. - Keep your word. When you promise a quote or a sample, send it on time. - Follow up. Most sales are won by checking back in, so don't let a lead go quiet. - Stay organized. Keep your notes and next steps up to date so nothing slips. Hours You must work North American business hours: Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 US Eastern time. We're happy to hire outside the US, including in the Philippines, as long as you can keep these hours. We'll train and support you You won't be on your own. We'll teach you our products, our clients, and our tools. You'll also have an AI helper that drafts replies for you to review and send. We're here to answer your questions and help you grow. What we're looking for - Great writing. Your emails should be warm, clear, and simple. - Fluent in English. - Some sales experience, ideally with furniture, design, or other made-to-order products. - Strong follow-through. You can handle many open chats without dropping one. - An eye for detail. Small mistakes can cost big orders. What we offer Pay: Anywhere from $4 up to $15 an hour, with conditional commission on sales that you handle, dependent on experience, personality, and skills. A client emails: "We're opening a new office with 6 private offices and a conference room. Do you offer bulk discounts?" Write your reply. There's no trick. We want to see warmth, clear details, and good questions. In this job, you'll sign your client emails as "Office Furniture Consultant."
