Ongoing 3D Kitchen Cabinet & Stone Benchtop Designer (CAD Specialist Needed)

We are a kitchen manufacturing and stone benchtop fabrication company seeking an experienced 3D CAD designer for ongoing contract work. This is not a one‑off project — we are looking to build a long-term relationship with a reliable freelancer who can produce accurate, detailed, and presentation-ready 3D models of kitchen cabinetry and stone benchtops. If you have hands-on experience in kitchen/joinery design software and enjoy consistent, repeatable work with a professional team, this role will suit you well. Responsibilities: Create detailed 3D models of kitchen cabinets, layouts, and stone benchtops Produce accurate dimensions, joinery details, cut-outs, edge profiles, and material selections Generate realistic renders for client presentations Prepare manufacturing-ready drawings where required Collaborate remotely with our team to refine designs and incorporate feedback Deliver files in formats compatible with our workflow (e.g., DWG, DXF, SketchUp, Polyboard, Cabinet Vision exports, etc.) Required Skills & Software Experience: Strong proficiency in CAD software such as: Cabinet Vision AlphaCAM Polyboard SketchUp AutoCAD Or similar kitchen/joinery design tools Experience designing kitchen cabinetry, joinery, and stone benchtops Ability to produce high-quality renders and manufacturing-level detail Understanding of hardware placement, carcass construction, and benchtop fabrication Strong communication skills and ability to work independently What Makes a Strong Applicant Stand Out: A portfolio showcasing completed kitchen designs and stone benchtop projects Experience working with manufacturers or cabinet makers Ability to interpret architectural plans and convert them into production-ready designs Fast turnaround times and consistent availability A proactive, detail-oriented approach Project Scope & Engagement: Ongoing weekly work Projects include kitchens, laundries, vanities, wardrobes, and stone benchtops Remote collaboration with our team Clear briefs provided for each job Long-term relationship preferred
