Ongoing WordPress/Uncode Developer & Designer for Law Firm Websites Job Description: We are a dynamic law firm operating three established websites—drummlaw.com, beerattorney.com, and trademarkvault.com—all built on WordPress using the Uncode theme. We are looking for someone interested in building a long-term partnership with our team, as we will have ongoing needs for updates, edits, and new content on a regular basis. Reliability and consistent communication are key, as we want to collaborate with someone who can grow with us and ensure our websites remain fresh, functional, and engaging over time. We need an experienced developer to take ownership of our site maintenance, speed optimization, and ongoing improvements. Your core responsibilities will include: - Speed & SEO Optimization: Significantly improving page load times and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks to boost our SEO. - Content & Design Updates: Assisting with graphics, adding new pages, updating existing content, and modernizing the overall look and feel. - Theme & Hosting Management: Managing updates, functionality, and troubleshooting within our specific stack—all sites use the Uncode theme and are hosted on AWS. - Plugin Management: Integrating and maintaining plugins, with specific emphasis on ApproveMe, WooCommerce, and WPForms/Contact Form 7. - General Troubleshooting: Ensuring flawless mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and site health. Our ideal partner: - Extensive, proven experience building and maintaining sites with the Uncode theme. - Experience managing WordPress environments hosted on AWS. - Familiarity with the ApproveMe plugin, WooCommerce, and standard SEO tools (like Yoast). - Deep understanding of technical SEO, accessibility standards, and site speed optimization techniques. - Reliable, highly communicative, and genuinely interested in a consistent, ongoing relationship.
