Operations Associate Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Operations Associate to support business development, marketing, administrative operations, and e-commerce initiatives across multiple business units. This role is responsible for managing customer relationship systems, generating sales leads, coordinating social media marketing efforts, maintaining business records, supporting accounting functions, and overseeing online marketplace and e-commerce activities. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with sales and marketing initiatives and thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Key Responsibilities Sales & Lead Generation Manage and maintain CRM systems to ensure accurate customer and prospect records. Generate and qualify short-term rental leads targeting local residents, corporate travelers, and professionals such as travel nurses. Develop and maintain event space sales leads targeting families, corporate clients, office managers, and community organizations. Generate catering sales opportunities to increase direct catering bookings and third-party platform orders, including ezCater. Conduct outreach activities, track lead pipelines, and support conversion efforts. Maintain detailed reporting on lead generation activities and sales performance. Social Media & Digital Marketing Create and publish weekday content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Design engaging social media graphics and promotional materials using Canva. Coordinate and facilitate paid advertising campaigns on Instagram and Facebook. Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations for improving engagement and lead generation. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital platforms. Administrative & Operations Support Organize, maintain, and manage company files and documentation through Dropbox. Develop and maintain efficient filing systems to ensure easy access to business records. Assist with operational processes, reporting, and project coordination as needed. Accounting & Data Management Perform data entry and administrative accounting tasks within QuickBooks. Maintain accurate records of transactions, invoices, expenses, and other financial information. Support management with reporting and data reconciliation activities. E-Commerce & Marketplace Management Manage BackHausRack e-commerce operations on Amazon and other online sales platforms. Maintain product listings, inventory information, pricing updates, and customer communications. Monitor sales performance and recommend strategies to increase online revenue. Coordinate the sale of restaurant equipment, furniture, and other business assets through Facebook Marketplace and similar platforms. Required Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience in business, marketing, operations, or a related field. Experience with CRM platforms and lead management systems. Familiarity with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Experience creating content using Canva. Basic knowledge of Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads. Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace. Preferred Qualifications Experience in hospitality, restaurant, catering, event venue, or short-term rental industries. Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and e-commerce marketplace management. Experience with lead generation, sales prospecting, and customer outreach. Understanding of digital marketing analytics and campaign optimization.
