Summary

I run several businesses across BI, e-commerce, and early-stage SaaS, and I needed someone who could step into a genuinely complex, multi-company operation and bring order to it without a lot of hand-holding. Not a task-taker — someone who could look at a messy workflow, understand the underlying goal, and build the system that solves it. What I needed: Workflow automation: Design and build automations (n8n, AI-native tooling) that take repetitive, manual processes — meeting notes into action items, data moving between systems, recurring research and reporting — and make them run themselves. AI-fluent execution: Someone who uses tools like Claude to pressure-test and sharpen their own work before it ships, rather than turning in first drafts. AI as a multiplier, not a crutch. Project & ops coordination: Keep work organized in Notion, manage sprint cadence, coordinate testing, and turn scattered inputs into clear, trackable deliverables. Design capability: Bonus points for someone who can also handle visual work — Figma, Adobe XD, landing page and UI redesigns — so I'm not stitching together three contractors for one initiative. Autonomy: I don't have time to micromanage. I needed someone who asks the right questions at the right moments, then runs with it. The ideal candidate ramps fast onto unfamiliar, complex contexts, communicates clearly and proactively, and can move fluidly between technical automation, project coordination, and design without dropping quality on any of them.
