Operations & Financial Consultant for Hanna Li Interiors | Remote | Contract Position About the Role: Hanna Li Interiors is seeking an experienced Operations & Financial Consultant to work directly with Hanna Li, Owner & Creative Director, on the strategic growth and operational development of the studio. This is a high-level advisory role for someone who can look at the business as a whole—people, processes, finances, organizational structure, and growth—and help determine what the company needs to do next. The ideal candidate has experience helping entrepreneurial or creative businesses scale profitably and build the infrastructure required for growth. Key Responsibilities: Business & Financial Strategy - Develop and evaluate company growth strategies and annual business goals. - Analyze revenue, profitability, cash flow, and major expenditures to support strategic decisions. - Help establish financial targets and evaluate investments, new initiatives, and expansion opportunities. - Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency. - Evaluate the financial and operational implications of new service offerings and business opportunities. - Advise Hanna on where the company should invest, where it should reduce spending, and what it should prioritize. Operations & Process Improvement - Evaluate team utilization, schedules, workloads, and resource allocation. - Identify operational inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Improve internal processes, workflows, communication, and accountability. - Develop systems that allow the company to operate more efficiently as it grows. Identify opportunities to automate, outsource, consolidate, or restructure functions. Organizational Design & Leadership - Develop and maintain the company's organizational structure and org chart. - Define departments, leadership roles, responsibilities, and reporting structures. - Identify organizational gaps and future leadership needs. - Advise on senior leadership hiring and headcount planning. - Develop short- and long-term staffing plans based on business needs and financial capacity. - Help determine which functions should be internal, outsourced, or contracted. Growth & Expansion Work with Hanna to evaluate: - New service offerings. - New markets and geographic expansion. - Major investments. - Strategic partnerships. - Additional revenue opportunities. - Changes to the company's business model. Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a strategic operator and financial thinker who can act as a trusted advisor to the owner. You should have: - Experience with organizational design and scaling businesses. - Experience analyzing budgets, profitability, and investments. - Excellent process-improvement skills. - Experience with team structure, utilization, and headcount planning. - Strong strategic thinking and communication skills. - The confidence to challenge assumptions and make recommendations. - Experience advising entrepreneurs, founders, or senior leadership. - A highly analytical, practical, and solutions-oriented approach. - Strong business and financial acumen. - Experience in interior design, architecture, construction, real estate, creative services, luxury, or other project-based businesses is a strong plus. Compensation & Engagement: This is a contract consulting position structured as a fractional strategic engagement. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, scope, and level of involvement. The initial engagement is expected to begin as a 30-day to 90-day strategic assessment and implementation period, after which the scope, priorities, and compensation will be reassessed.
