About the Company We are a concrete and construction management company based in Los Angeles, growing quickly as we move into our next stage as a business. About the Role We are looking for a sharp, systems minded Operations Manager to float across the company between the sales, client services, marketing, and production departments, and report directly to the leadership team. This person will own the processes, data, and follow through that connect these departments and do not naturally belong to any single one of them. This role requires someone who thinks in systems and process, who can look at an undocumented workflow and turn it into something clean, repeatable, and measurable. The Operations Manager will manage multiple projects across departments at the same time, stay proactive about identifying issues before they become problems, report status clearly to leadership, and move quickly to resolve issues as they come up. Why This Role Exists As the company grows, leadership needs a single point of ownership for projects and processes that touch multiple departments, so that priorities move forward quickly, data stays accurate and organized, and nothing falls through the cracks while each department stays focused on its core function. Core Focus Areas Systems and process. Build, document, and continuously refine SOPs across departments, including sales operations, client services, and client onboarding, and maintain a central SOP library the whole company can reference Data and reporting. Own the accuracy of how leads and jobs are tracked and tagged in the CRM, including qualification criteria, source tagging, and reporting that leadership can trust Cross department flow. Act as the connective layer between sales, client services, marketing, and production, so that work, data, and decisions move cleanly from one team to the next instead of stalling or getting lost HR and people operations. Organize employee files and documentation, document PTO, time off, and overtime policies, build out escalation and write up processes, support 30, 60, and 90 day growth plans and check ins, and help run first round interviews for select roles Legal, insurance, and risk. Consolidate and audit existing insurance policies, shop rates, coordinate legal review of employee, client, and vendor agreements, and support broader risk management efforts Finance and vendor oversight. Support vendor and expense reviews, help clean up payables and approval processes, and assist in evaluating vendors such as bookkeeping, payroll, and workers compensation providers Company vehicle program. Own the administrative side of the company vehicle program, including sourcing, insurance, tracking, maintenance, documentation, and a regular enforcement cadence Communication and org structure. Help maintain a clear internal communication structure and an up to date org chart so everyone knows who owns what and how requests should flow Marketing and brand support. Coordinate with the marketing team on organizing collateral, testimonials, and other brand and content needs Tools and AI. Evaluate, recommend, and help implement AI tools such as Claude, project management platforms, and other operations tools on the market that make the company faster and smarter Project ownership. Take ownership of cross functional initiatives such as client agreement updates, insurance and risk management projects, and onboarding plans, including a structured 30, 60, and 90 day ramp up for new sales hires What Success Looks Like Leadership should be able to hand this person a goal, get a short round of clarifying questions up front, and then step away, trusting that the project will move forward correctly and that the right people across departments will be looped in without needing to be managed line by line. Ideal Background Experience in a RevOps, business operations, or systems and process role, ideally somewhere that required working across sales, operations, and data rather than staying inside one department Hands on experience with AI tools such as Claude, project management platforms, and other operations tools on the market, with a genuine interest in using them to make the company faster and smarter Familiarity with CRM systems and how lead and pipeline data should be structured, tagged, and reported on Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) or a similar operating framework is a plus A background that combines structure from a larger or more corporate environment with the autonomy of a small business, where the person had to figure things out across multiple functions rather than staying in one lane Experience working across operations, legal, and or HR functions is a plus. Backgrounds supporting attorneys, or working in fast moving or venture backed small to mid sized companies, tend to be a strong fit Experience at a young, fast growing company is a strong plus, including startups, companies going through restructuring or major growth phases, or AI and tech companies where the pace and expectations are high Traits We Are Looking For Highly organized, with the ability to quickly understand a new process and turn it into a clear, usable system A self starter who thinks on their feet and does not need heavy oversight to get things done Comfortable being the person who connects departments, follows up, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate a messy conversation into a clean document or process Prior experience working across multiple functions or departments, rather than in a single, narrowly defined role
