Operations & Procurement Coordinator – Logistics, RFPs & Government Contracts

We are a growing Canadian logistics and supply-chain company seeking an experienced Operations & Procurement Coordinator for a long-term, part-time engagement. The initial fixed-price milestone is USD $1,000 for the first month, with the intention to establish renewable monthly milestones based on performance and workload. Responsibilities include monitoring procurement portals such as SAP Ariba, Bonfire and MERX; identifying suitable opportunities; maintaining a bid calendar; reviewing RFP requirements and amendments; preparing compliance matrices, questionnaires and supporting documents; coordinating pricing and operational information; maintaining supplier registrations and compliance records; communicating professionally with buyers and suppliers; and organizing final submission packages. The successful candidate must have excellent written English, exceptional attention to detail, strong document-control skills, and experience with procurement, RFPs, logistics operations or government contracting. Experience with SAP Ariba or similar procurement platforms is preferred. The contractor will prepare and coordinate submissions, but company ownership will retain final approval over pricing, declarations, signatures, contractual commitments and bid submissions.
