I am seeking an experienced professional actively involved in the gold jewelry industry, including wholesale jewelry, jewelry trading, manufacturing, distribution, precious metals dealing, or related areas. My goal is to learn how the gold jewelry business actually works from professionals who have real-world experience in the trade. I am interested in understanding: • How legitimate gold jewelry inventory is sourced • How wholesalers, dealers, manufacturers, and suppliers operate • How experienced professionals evaluate pricing, weight, purity, margins, and opportunities • How supplier relationships are built and maintained • How legitimate inventory is verified and acquired • Common mistakes new entrants make • Practical pathways into the business I am based in New York City and have existing relationships with individuals involved in the jewelry, pawn, and precious metals business. One of my goals is to better understand how inventory moves through both local and international supply chains and how successful professionals build trusted relationships with suppliers and buyers over time. I am not looking for a generic supplier list, a research report, or unrealistic promises. I am looking for mentorship, practical guidance, industry insight, and a better understanding of how legitimate dealers source inventory, evaluate margins, and create profitable transactions.
