Operations / Project Manager (Remote) to Keep a Small Contractor Team on Track

About the role We are a small, fast growing B2B service company with a fully remote team of specialists across outreach, sales, and marketing. Good people doing good work, but nobody is holding the whole picture together on a daily basis right now. That is the job. What you will actually do You are the person who makes sure things get done, on time, without me chasing anyone. Own the daily operating rhythm: who is doing what, by when, and what is blocking them Manage and follow up with a distributed team of contractors Take high level objectives from me (a new acquisition campaign, a new outreach channel, a marketing launch) and break them into clear tasks with owners and deadlines Run short daily or weekly check ins with the team and escalate anything that needs my decision Build and maintain a project management system the team actually uses (Asana, ClickUp, Notion, Monday, whatever you run best) Give me one short report per week: what moved, what is stuck, what needs me Onboard new hires and keep our SOPs and documentation current What I am not asking for You do not need to be an expert in our industry or in the specifics of our strategies. I set the strategy. Your job is to understand the objective well enough to drive execution toward it and keep everyone accountable. You are a strong fit if you have 3+ years managing remote teams, agency projects, or startup operations A track record of holding contractors accountable without needing to be managed yourself Clear, direct written English The judgment to make small decisions on your own instead of waiting on me for everything Solid overlap with US business hours Bonus: experience in B2B services, agencies, sales operations, or marketing operations How to apply Please answer these in your proposal.
