# Operations & Marketing Manager — Zoraro (Shopify Store) **Type:** Remote, Part-Time / Freelance (Contract) **Reports to:** Store Owner **Location:** Remote (any time zone, with overlap availability for check-ins) ## About Zoraro Zoraro (www.zoraro.com) is a multi-category e-commerce brand selling across beauty, kitchen, gadgets, home essentials, garden & outdoor, kids, and DIY products. We run on Shopify, move fast on trending products, and compete on price, speed of delivery, and customer experience. We're looking for a hands-on operator who can keep the store running smoothly day-to-day and help grow revenue through smart, budget-conscious marketing. ## Role Overview We're hiring a part-time Operations & Marketing Manager to take ownership of the daily running of the Zoraro Shopify store — from order fulfillment and supplier coordination to ad campaign management and customer service oversight. This is a hybrid role for someone comfortable wearing both an "ops" hat and a "growth" hat, ideal for someone with dropshipping/e-commerce experience who wants flexible, remote, part-time work with real ownership. ## Key Responsibilities ### Store Operations - Manage day-to-day Shopify store operations: product listings, inventory status, pricing, and promotions - Coordinate with suppliers (AliExpress, CJ Dropshipping, sourcing agents, etc.) on order fulfillment, shipping times, and stock issues - Monitor order flow daily; troubleshoot delayed, lost, or problem orders - Maintain product pages (titles, descriptions, images, pricing, badges/discounts) to keep the catalog clean and conversion-ready - Oversee customer service inbox/tickets (or manage a freelance CS agent if one is in place) — ensure timely, on-brand responses - Track key store metrics weekly: orders, AOV, return/refund rate, shipping times, supplier performance - Flag and help resolve operational bottlenecks (slow suppliers, stockouts, recurring complaints) ### Marketing & Growth - Plan, launch, and manage paid ad campaigns on Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads - Monitor and optimize campaigns for ROAS/CPA — adjust budgets, creatives, and targeting based on performance - Identify and test winning/trending products in coordination with the owner - Coordinate basic creative needs (ad images, short videos, product GIFs) with freelancers or templates - Support email/SMS marketing flows (abandoned cart, welcome series, promotions) if tools are in place - Run light CRO improvements on the storefront (homepage banners, collection layout, offers) to support campaign performance - Provide a simple weekly report: spend, revenue, ROAS, top products, and recommendations ## What We're Looking For - 1–3+ years of hands-on experience running or marketing a Shopify (or similar) e-commerce/dropshipping store - Practical, working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager — campaign setup, optimization, and reporting - Experience coordinating with dropshipping suppliers/agents (AliExpress, CJ Dropshipping, or similar) - Comfortable in Shopify admin: products, orders, discounts, basic theme edits - Organized, self-directed, and reliable — this is a remote role with real autonomy and accountability - Data-comfortable: can read basic store/ad metrics and make sensible decisions from them - Good written English for customer communication and reporting - Bonus: experience with Klaviyo, basic Canva/Capcut for ad creatives, or prior general dropshipping store management ## Engagement Details - **Commitment:** Part-time / freelance — flexible hours, output and results-based - **Compensation:** Base retainer (to be discussed) - **Start:** Immediate availability preferred - **Tools provided:** Shopify admin access, ad account access, supplier contacts ## To Apply Send a short note covering: 1.
