Title: Operations Manager / Assistant for Home Services Business — Self-Starter Who Owns It About us We’re a growing home services business [e.g. HVAC / plumbing / cleaning / landscaping — add yours] and we need an Operations rockstar to keep the engine running. This isn’t a “wait to be told” role. We want someone who sees what needs to happen and makes it happen — before we even ask. You’ll work closely with our sales team and field operations crews, so being a strong, proactive communicator is everything. What you’ll own • Scheduling and dispatching jobs, coordinating crews/technicians in the field • Acting as the link between sales and field operations — keeping everyone aligned • Managing the calendar, inbox, and customer follow-ups • Keeping our systems clean and up to date (we run our own custom project management software — we’ll train you on it) • Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors • Building and maintaining SOPs so the business runs without chaos • Handling quotes, invoicing follow-ups, and basic reporting • Spotting bottlenecks and fixing them on your own You’re the one if you • Are genuinely self-motivated — you don’t need to be chased or micromanaged • Have 2+ years in operations, dispatch, admin, or office management (home services or trades a big plus) • Communicate clearly and fast in English, written and spoken • Are comfortable coordinating across sales and field teams • Stay calm and organized when the day gets hectic • Take ownership of problems instead of passing them along • Learn new tools quickly — including custom in-house software Availability (please read) • Must be available Monday–Friday during USA Eastern Time business hours • 30–40 hrs/week, long-term role Details • Rate: Share your desired rate • Room to grow as we grow To apply Start your proposal with “Rockstar” so I know you read this.
