Optical/Lens Design Software Expert

Looking for someone with hands-on experience in optical/lens design software such as Zemax OpticStudio or Code V, including ray tracing, lens prescription, and optical system design. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of optical principles and be able to work independently on projects. Experience in designing optical systems for various applications is a plus. Overview I'm developing a through-the-lens (TTL), fixed-mount Galilean dental loupe and need a qualified optical designer to produce a validated lens prescription and, optionally, a manufacturing-ready tolerance package. Target specifications Magnification: 3.5X Working distance: 450 mm (objective to object plane) Configuration: Galilean (positive objective + negative eyepiece), afocal output — final virtual image at optical infinity for relaxed, unaccommodated viewing during long procedures Binocular pair with interpupillary-distance-based convergence (target IPD range 54–72 mm, adjustable) Fixed declination angle (barrel tilted relative to spectacle plane), typically in the 25°–40° range — exact angle TBD based on ergonomic fit Achromatic correction required (chromatic aberration and field curvature must be controlled across the working field — likely needs an achromatic doublet objective, not a singlet)
