About the Role The Digital Value Group (TDVG) is seeking a Senior Oracle APEX Developer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to lead innovative Oracle APEX initiatives across industries. As a Senior Oracle APEX Developer, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced APEX applications that deliver mission-critical solutions for enterprise clients across various sectors. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and drive technical excellence across the full application lifecycle. You’ll be expected to demonstrate technical leadership, contribute architectural insights, and take full ownership of complex development initiatives from design to deployment. Responsibilities • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex Oracle APEX applications. • Architect scalable solutions and ensure adherence to best practices in performance, security, and usability. • Write, review, and optimize advanced SQL and PL/SQL code for high-performance applications. • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application and database issues efficiently. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. • Stay current with emerging Oracle APEX capabilities and continuously drive innovation within projects. Qualifications • 5+ years of proven experience in Oracle APEX development, including designing and deploying enterprise-grade applications. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. • Expert-level proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with strong experience in performance tuning and complex query optimization. • Deep understanding of Oracle Database architecture, relational data modeling, and schema design principles. • Demonstrated ability to architect scalable, secure, and maintainable APEX applications. • Strong skills around Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and code quality. • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders. • Experience mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical standards or best practices. • Nice to have: Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
