Order Operations Specialist — Order Processing & Delivery Scheduling
Worldwide
Posting: We're an established B2B wholesale furniture distributor (in business since 1999) looking for a detail-obsessed Order Operations Specialist to own a defined set of daily order tasks. This is a long-term role with room to grow — we build relationships, not quick transactions, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us. What you'll do: Delivery scheduling ("dating orders"): Review and date orders for delivery on a set cadence — roughly 4x per day, every 2 hours (about 30 minutes each pass). Reliability and consistency matter more than speed here. After-hours & large-order processing: Process orders that arrive after 5:00 PM EST, plus larger/complex orders that need extra care. Pricing accuracy / QC: Verify pricing on orders is correct before they move forward — catching discrepancies is a core part of the job. Hours: Our operations run on US Eastern time. We're flexible on your exact start/end — a later-start, later-end schedule is fine — as long as the every-2-hour dating cadence and the after-5PM order window are reliably covered. Must-haves: Meticulous attention to detail — this role lives and dies on accuracy Comfortable working inside an order-management / ERP system (we use NetSuite; experience is a plus, not required — we'll train) Dependable and consistent with a recurring daily schedule Solid written English for clear internal communication A big plus (and the growth path): Excellent spoken and written English with minimal accent. As you get up to speed, this role can expand into emailing customers on open orders and — down the line — handling some phone calls. If that's a direction you want to grow, tell us. About working with us: We're a close-knit team where everyone gets into the weeds — no task is too small, and we back our people. If you're looking for a stable, long-term seat rather than a one-off gig, you'll fit right in. To apply, please answer in your proposal: (1) Briefly describe a role where accuracy or catching errors was central to your job. (2) What hours (in US Eastern time) can you reliably work? (3) Rate your spoken English 1–10 and tell us about any customer-facing phone or email experience.
