Organic Social Media Strategist and Community Growth Manager for Professional Beauty Brand
Worldwide
About Artistry Beauty Artistry Beauty is a founder-led professional beauty brand built around precision brow and lash education, professional products, and industry authority. Our ecosystem includes Artistry Beauty Salon, Artistry Beauty Official, in-person and online education, product launches, professional events, and a growing national community of beauty professionals. We are moving into a more elevated, editorial, education-first era and are looking for a US-based social media strategist who can turn a high-level marketing roadmap into consistent, platform-specific execution and measurable community growth. The role This is not a basic posting or scheduling position. Our fractional CMO will provide the overall marketing strategy, campaign priorities, offers, goals, and messaging direction. You will be expected to independently translate that direction into a complete social media plan, execute it, report on performance, and recommend the next move. You will manage the social content system across Instagram and TikTok first, with strategic expansion and repurposing for Facebook, YouTube, and Threads where appropriate. You will also actively grow our professional beauty community through research, engagement, relationship building, and personalized outreach. What you will own * Create monthly and weekly social media strategies that support product launches, professional education, events, services, founder authority, and community growth. * Turn company-level campaign briefs into platform-specific content calendars, audience angles, formats, captions, calls to action, links, and publishing plans. * Manage content planning and approvals in Asana, source assets from Google Drive, communicate in Slack, and schedule approved content through Metricool. * Maintain consistent account activity and an agreed publishing cadence without using identical copy-and-paste content across platforms. * Request the exact founder footage needed in advance, including voiceovers, talking-head clips, demonstrations, service footage, and event content. * Create and edit polished day-to-day social assets, carousels, Reels, and Stories using provided brand systems and templates. * Build Story sequences that combine education, authority, product discovery, clear links, and direct calls to action. * Proactively engage with beauty professionals, salons, schools, educators, and aligned creators through comments, follows, replies, and personalized direct outreach. * Research local professional beauty communities around events and launches, build target lists, and track outreach and follow-up. * Deliver weekly performance reports with insights and recommendations, including what worked, why it worked, what should change, and what should be tested next. * Monitor content quality before publication, including spelling, grammar, readability, contrast, alignment, safe zones, links, and platform formatting. * Collaborate closely with the Founder, fractional CMO, graphic designer, CRM specialist, and other contractors while owning the social channel execution. What this role does not own * Company-wide marketing strategy or final campaign direction. These are led by our fractional CMO. * Brand packaging, website graphics, email graphics, print collateral, or full campaign identity systems. These are handled by a dedicated graphic designer. * Email, SMS, Shopify development, or CRM automation. * Full paid advertising management. You may collaborate on promoted content and campaign handoffs, but paid media is not the core of this role. You may be a strong fit if you * Are based in the United States and can work reliably within US business hours for review and coordination. * Have at least three years of hands-on social media management, organic growth, or community growth experience for an established brand. * Can show measurable examples of audience growth, engagement quality, lead generation, launch support, or revenue influence. * Understand the beauty industry, professional beauty, education, ecommerce, or another expertise-led founder brand. * Know how to turn a high-level campaign brief into a complete social plan without needing every post individually scripted for you. * Are highly proficient with Asana, Metricool, Slack, Google Drive, Instagram, TikTok, and Canva or comparable design tools. * Have strong copywriting and flawless written English, plus excellent visual judgment for clean, minimal social design. * Are proactive, organized, responsive, comfortable with feedback, and able to work at least one week ahead. * Care about real community building and enjoy talking with the audience rather than only publishing at them. * Have experience managing TikTok Shop for a brand, including product tagging, shop-focused content, creator or affiliate activity, and performance optimization. TikTok Shop experience is strongly preferred, but it is not required. How success will be measured * Qualified growth among beauty professionals and aligned service clients. * Improved follower conversion from high-reach educational content. * Consistent traffic, clicks, inquiries, event interest, product discovery, and course demand from social content. * More active relationships with professionals, schools, educators, and creators in priority markets. * A reliable one-week-ahead workflow with clear approvals, fewer avoidable revisions, and no preventable quality errors. * Weekly reporting that produces useful decisions and continuous improvement. Contract details * Engagement: Ongoing monthly contract. * Budget: $1,000 to $1,500 per month, depending on experience and agreed scope. * Location: United States only. * Primary collaboration: Fractional CMO, with Founder involvement for strategy, founder content, and approvals. A short introduction explaining why this role and the professional beauty industry interest you. 2. Two or three relevant social media accounts or case studies you personally managed, including the goal, your responsibilities, and measurable results. 3. Your experience with Asana, Metricool, Slack, Google Drive, Canva, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, and community outreach. 5.
