Original-Art Illustrator Needed: Anatomy & Fitness Poster Series (Trial Poster First)

We need a medical/scientific illustrator to create 5 original wall posters: Muscular System, Skeletal System, Stretching, Pilates, and Yoga. Each poster is 17.3" x 22.5", print-ready, and should share one consistent illustration style across the series. This is a trial-first project. We're starting with just the Muscular System poster. If we're happy with the quality and process, we'll move forward with the other 4 (Skeletal, Stretching, Pilates, Yoga) at the same rate — no obligation on either side beyond the trial. WHAT EACH POSTER NEEDS TO COVER - Muscular System (trial poster): full-body muscles, front and back view, plus close-up details of the hand, foot, and back muscles. - Skeletal System: full-body skeleton, front and back view, plus close-ups of the skull, spine, and major joints. - Stretching: 12 common stretches (e.g. hamstring, quad, calf, shoulder, back) with muscles labeled. - Pilates: 9 core Pilates exercises (e.g. the hundred, bridge, plank) with muscles labeled. - Yoga: 9 common yoga poses (e.g. tree pose, downward dog, warrior II) with muscles labeled. STYLE Clean, hand-illustrated, textbook-quality medical illustration — not 3D-rendered or photographic. Clear labels with leader lines, consistent color palette across all 5 posters. 100% original artwork. No tracing or copying existing anatomy posters — reference materials are for accuracy only, not composition. Remaining 4 posters (if approved): roughly 4–5 more weeks. BUDGET $250–$1,000 per poster, depending on experience and complexity. The Muscular and Skeletal posters are more label-dense and will likely land toward the higher end; Stretching/Pilates/Yoga toward the lower-to-middle end.
