Summary

I'm creating a children's animated bedtime YouTube channel. A calming, culturally diverse storytelling channel for kids aged 3–9. I need two original characters illustrated in a warm, picture-book style. These characters will appear in every episode and across all channel branding. ✅ DO: Watercolour texture, gouache softness, painterly edges, warm lighting, expressive eyes, picture-book quality ✅ DO: Soft shadows, gentle glow effects, organic shapes ❌ DO NOT: Hard outlines, flat vector, "app icon" style, anime, overly cute/chibi, realistic ❌ DO NOT: Anything that looks like stock art or a generic children's illustration template
