We're looking for a cold email operator who lives and breathes outbound. Not a strategist. Not a consultant. An operator who will build, test, and scale cold email campaigns that generate real replies and booked meetings. About us: We are a licensed insurance agency that helps small and mid-size businesses find the right Professional Employer Organization (PEO). We work with 100+ vetted PEO providers. Our service is free to the business — PEOs pay us. We need outbound to drive new client conversations. What you'll own: — Managing 10-15+ cold email campaigns in Instantly / Smartlead — Writing and A/B testing email copy (we have a proven cold email framework you'll follow) — Building and enriching lead lists using Apollo or other sources — Managing sender account warmup, rotation, and deliverability — Monitoring reply rates, bounce rates, and sender health daily — Testing 4+ messaging angles per audience per the framework (one sentence, free audit, ambiguous, permission-based, PAS, etc.) — Scaling winning campaigns from 50 leads to 500+ leads — Following up with positive replies and routing qualified conversations to our team — Reporting weekly on: emails sent, reply rate by campaign, positive vs negative replies, meetings booked What's already built (you're not starting from scratch): — 60 warmed sender accounts in Instantly / Maildoso — Apollo account with verified lead data — Cold email copywriting framework with proven angle templates — 12 campaigns in draft targeting 3 high-penetration industries — CRM (GoHighLevel) for pipeline tracking — Weekly analytics dashboards (GA4, GSC, GHL) What we need from you: — Minimum 3 years managing cold email at scale (10,000+ emails/month) — Hands-on experience with Instantly / Apollo / Smartlead / Maildoso (required — not Lemlist, not Mailshake, not Woodpecker) — Hands-on experience with Apollo for lead sourcing and enrichment — Proven reply rates above 2% on cold outbound (show us screenshots) — Understanding of deliverability: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, warmup protocols, inbox rotation — Ability to write short, plain-text, conversational cold emails (no corporate marketing or AI copy) — Available to report weekly and adjust campaigns based on data Preferred Qualifications: — Experience in B2B services, HR, group health insurance, payroll or PEO industry Compensation: This is a pay-for-performance role with a small monthly base: — Base retainer: $500/month (covers list building, campaign management, weekly reporting) — Per qualified reply: $25 (positive reply from a decision-maker expressing interest) — Per meeting booked: $100 (confirmed call on our calendar) — Per closed deal: $500 bonus A good operator running 10,000+ emails/month at 2%+ reply rate should earn $1,500-$3,000/month. An exceptional one will earn more.
