About the Opportunity We are an established outdoor adventure, experiential learning, and tourism organization operating in the Middle East. Our work includes guided hiking programs, adventure travel experiences, outdoor education, corporate experiences, wilderness skills training, and community-based outdoor initiatives. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are seeking an Outdoor Adventure Marketing & Growth Manager to take ownership of audience growth, campaign execution, content planning, and community engagement. This is not a graphic design role. We are looking for someone who can build communities, drive participation, execute campaigns, and turn followers into active customers and advocates. Candidates with direct outdoor recreation, adventure travel, tourism, or destination marketing experience will be prioritized over general digital marketers. ⸻ Position Summary The Outdoor Adventure Marketing & Growth Manager will be responsible for growing awareness, engagement, lead generation, and registrations across multiple outdoor recreation, tourism, and education products. The successful candidate will own marketing planning and campaign execution while coordinating content creators, photographers, videographers, designers, and other stakeholders. This role combines growth marketing, campaign management, community building, and outdoor industry knowledge. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Marketing & Growth * Develop and execute monthly marketing plans * Grow Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and email audiences * Increase engagement, inquiries, registrations, and conversions * Identify partnership and influencer opportunities * Develop referral and ambassador initiatives * Track and report on key marketing metrics Campaign Management Lead marketing campaigns for products and services such as: * Membership and season pass programs * Outdoor education initiatives * Guided hiking and adventure programs * Expeditions and adventure travel experiences * Family and community events * Tourism and destination experiences * Maps, trail resources, and outdoor recreation products Responsibilities include: * Campaign planning and execution * Launch timelines * Asset coordination * Marketing calendars * Performance tracking * Post-campaign reviews Content Management * Build and maintain content calendars * Coordinate photographers, videographers, editors, and designers * Develop content themes and storytelling frameworks * Ensure consistent publishing schedules * Repurpose content into reels, stories, email campaigns, blogs, and promotional assets Community Engagement * Grow and engage outdoor communities * Support community groups and engagement channels * Encourage user-generated content * Manage reviews, testimonials, and community stories * Build relationships with ambassadors, guides, and partners Reporting & Analytics * Weekly marketing updates * Monthly performance reports * Campaign performance analysis * Recommendations for improvement * Growth strategy development ⸻ Required Experience * Minimum 3 years experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, campaign management, or community building * Strong understanding of Instagram and short-form video platforms * Experience managing social media growth strategies * Experience with email marketing platforms and customer journeys * Strong project management and organizational skills * Excellent written English * Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes ⸻ Preferred Industry Backgrounds Candidates with experience in one or more of the following sectors will be strongly preferred: * Adventure travel and expedition companies * Tourism boards and destination marketing organizations * Outdoor recreation brands * Trail running brands and events * Cycling brands and events * National parks, protected areas, or nature reserves * Camping and outdoor equipment companies * Experiential education providers * Eco-tourism and sustainable tourism organizations * Community-driven membership or loyalty programs ⸻ Bonus Qualifications * Personally active in hiking, camping, trail running, cycling, climbing, paddlesports, or outdoor education * Experience marketing memberships, season passes, events, expeditions, or destination experiences * Experience managing ambassador or influencer programs * Familiarity with GCC or Middle East tourism markets * Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar tools ⸻ Success Metrics (First 6 Months) The successful candidate will be expected to: * Establish a consistent content publishing schedule * Increase community engagement rates * Improve lead generation and conversion performance * Support growth of membership and season pass sales * Increase participation in programs and events * Successfully execute a major annual membership campaign * Create measurable growth across digital channels ⸻ Engagement Model * Remote position * Part-time initially (10–20 hours per week) * Flexible working hours * Opportunity to expand into a larger leadership role * Monthly retainer plus performance-based incentives
