PMHNP Private Practice Startup & Credentialing Specialist Needed

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preparing to launch my own outpatient/telehealth psychiatric private practice. I am looking for an experienced healthcare practice startup consultant or virtual assistant who has direct experience helping PMHNPs, psychiatrists, or behavioral health providers establish and launch private practices. I am looking for hands-on assistance getting the practice operational and ready to accept patients. I do not need clinical guidance; I need someone experienced with the administrative, credentialing, billing, and operational side of starting a mental health practice. Responsibilities may include: • Developing a step-by-step private practice launch checklist and timeline • NPI Type 2/group practice setup and related administrative enrollment • CAQH setup/maintenance and provider credentialing • Commercial insurance payer enrollment and contracting • Medicare/Medicaid enrollment if appropriate • EFT/ERA enrollment and payer portal setup • EHR/practice-management system setup and workflow development • Telehealth workflow setup • Electronic prescribing/EPCS administrative setup and coordination • Billing and claims workflow development • Insurance eligibility/benefit verification processes • Prior authorization workflows • Intake forms, consent forms, financial policies, cancellation/no-show policies, and other administrative practice documents • Patient scheduling and onboarding workflows • HIPAA-compliant administrative processes • Psychology Today and other appropriate provider-directory setup • Referral and basic practice marketing strategy • Preparing the practice to successfully onboard the first patients Preferred qualifications: Previous experience launching or managing a PMHNP, psychiatry, therapy, or behavioral-health private practice. Strong experience with CAQH, insurance credentialing, payer enrollment, medical billing, behavioral-health billing, EHR systems, and healthcare practice operations is strongly preferred. This will initially be a 3–6 month project, approximately 5–10 hours per week, with the possibility of continued administrative work after launch if it is a good fit.
