POWERMILL CNC Programmer for 4-Axis Wood Lathe

## Job Summary I am looking for an experienced CNC programmer and designer to help create **custom designs, CAD/CAM files, and production-ready toolpaths** for a **Catek 7-in-1 CNC Wood Lathe**. The machine is a multifunction CNC wood lathe capable of performing several operations, including turning, routing, milling, carving, and other machining processes. Catek has already provided me with a **PowerMill post processor for the machine**, so I am primarily looking for someone who can take a concept or reference design and turn it into a complete file that can be run on the machine. ### What I Need I am looking for someone who can: * Create unique 3D designs for turned and carved wood products * Create or modify CAD models based on pictures, sketches, dimensions, or ideas * Program the parts in Autodesk PowerMill * Create appropriate toolpaths for the different machining functions of the Catek machine * Utilize the machine's rotary axis and multiple machining capabilities * Produce finished NC/G-code using the Catek-supplied PowerMill post processor * Help optimize programs for machining time, surface finish, and reliability * Potentially provide ongoing programming and design services as new products are developed ### Ideal Experience Experience with **Autodesk PowerMill, multi-axis CNC machining, rotary machining, CNC wood lathes, and 4-axis or multi-function CNC equipment** would be highly valuable. This is not simply a standard 3-axis CNC router programming job. I am specifically looking for someone comfortable programming a machine that combines **rotary turning with additional cutting and machining operations**. I expect this to be an **ongoing relationship** if I find the right programmer. I can provide machine specifications, videos, tooling information, the PowerMill post processor, and examples of the types of products I would like to manufacture.
