PPC Specialist Verta Marketing Location: Remote Schedule: EST business hours Time Zone: Eastern Time About the Role Verta Marketing is seeking a PPC Specialist to take ownership of paid advertising and core automation workflows. This role is ideal for someone who can independently manage Google and Meta campaigns while also supporting GoHighLevel and light HubSpot tasks. You will work closely with our internal team, designers, and account managers to ensure seamless delivery, accurate tracking, and strong campaign performance. Responsibilities 1. Paid Advertising (Primary Function) You will own paid media across our client accounts. Google Ads and Meta Ads will be the primary platforms you work in day to day, but you should be comfortable planning and running campaigns across a broader mix — LinkedIn Ads, Microsoft / Bing Ads, YouTube, and display / programmatic — as campaign needs require. Working knowledge of additional platforms is a strong asset. Plan, launch, and manage performance campaigns — primarily across Google Ads and Meta Ads, with additional platforms (LinkedIn, Microsoft / Bing, YouTube, display / programmatic) as needed. Own full campaign structure and setup: account architecture, campaign and ad group builds, audience and keyword segmentation, and budget allocation across channels. Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, competitor analysis, and retargeting / remarketing setup. Develop and manage bidding strategies, budget pacing, and scaling decisions to hit target CPA, ROAS, and lead-volume goals. Configure and maintain conversion tracking, pixels, custom events, UTMs, and server-side / offline conversion imports; troubleshoot tracking and attribution issues. Run ongoing A/B and multivariate tests across creatives, headlines, audiences, offers, and landing pages. Perform daily and weekly optimizations, including bid adjustments, negative keyword management, audience refinement, and creative rotation. Manage and monitor ad spend across accounts, flag pacing issues, and ensure budgets are deployed efficiently. Build clear performance reporting and dashboards; generate insights and communicate recommendations to the internal team and account managers. Collaborate with design and content to brief, test, and iterate on new creative assets and ad copy. Stay current on platform updates, ad policy changes, and emerging paid-media tactics, and proactively bring new opportunities to the team. 2. CRM & Automation (Secondary Function) — GoHighLevel + HubSpot Build and maintain automation workflows inside GoHighLevel (funnels, triggers, pipelines, routing, reminders). Support occasional HubSpot tasks such as simple automations, form mapping, or workflow adjustments. Ensure CRM data integrity, pipeline accuracy, and correct lead routing. Assist in maintaining outreach and messaging flows inside LeadSeek. Troubleshoot workflow issues, broken automations, and attribution gaps. 3. Email & Light Marketing Automation Build simple email sequences inside GoHighLevel or Mailchimp as required. Execute A/B tests for subject lines, CTAs, and message variations. Assist with onboarding flows, nurture sequences, and triggered automations. Qualifications Proven experience in performance marketing with a focus on PPC campaign management across Google Ads and Meta. Strong knowledge of SEO tools, web analytics (Google Analytics), and conversion optimization techniques. Familiarity with SEM best practices, including keyword research, media buying, media planning, and budget management. Experience with Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and other digital marketing platforms. Ability to analyze data effectively to inform decision-making and improve campaign results. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously within deadlines. Knowledge of affiliate marketing strategies and e-commerce environments is a plus. Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and reporting purposes. Nice to Have Hands-on experience with TikTok Ads or other emerging paid-social platforms. Experience with programmatic / display buying beyond the Google network. Familiarity with Mailchimp for basic campaigns. Experience writing or adjusting short outreach scripts. Understanding of landing page CRO principles. Ability to diagnose tracking and attribution issues across multiple platforms. Exposure to automated outbound, drip campaigns, or sales workflows. Requirements English Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication is required. EST Availability: Must be able to work during EST (Eastern Standard Time) business hours. Technical Competency: Ability to manage work independently, troubleshoot issues, and provide clear documentation or updates to the team.
