Packaging Design Engineer – Optimize HDPE Bottle for Screen Printing or UV Decoration

We have an existing HDPE bottle that has already been engineered, and the production injection mold for the bottle has been completed. The only modification required is to redesign the front half of the bottle to improve compatibility with screen printing and UV direct printing while maintaining the overall appearance, dimensions, ergonomics, and manufacturability of the existing design. The current front panel contains a recessed profile with compound curvature that limits the effective printable area. Multiple decoration vendors have indicated that the existing geometry creates challenges for achieving consistent, high-quality printing. The objective is to optimize the front face to create a larger, decoration-friendly surface while minimizing changes to the existing mold design.
