Packaging Designer Needed to Finalize Skincare Stick Packaging for Manufacturing

We’re developing a skincare stick brand and have a strong initial packaging direction, but need an experienced packaging designer to finalize the design system and prepare manufacturer-ready files. The products are twist-up skincare sticks with a clean, modern visual identity, color-coded SKUs, vertical typography, and minimal ingredient/benefit callouts. We already have early mockups and brand direction. Now we need someone who can turn that into polished, print-ready packaging for production. Scope of work: Refine the current stick label design for readability, hierarchy, spacing, and consistency Finalize packaging across multiple color-coded SKUs Prepare manufacturer-ready dielines/artwork files Adapt the design for stick labels, caps/base color guidance, cartons if needed, and any required packaging panels Ensure regulatory/common packaging elements have space, including net weight, directions, warnings, ingredients, barcode, batch/lot area, company info, and claim-safe copy Create a clean system we can reuse for future SKUs Provide final files in AI/PDF and any other manufacturer-requested formats Ideal candidate: Experience designing cosmetic, skincare, beauty, wellness, or CPG packaging Strong typography and layout skills Experience preparing print-ready files using manufacturer dielines Comfortable working with small cylindrical packaging or label wraps Understands practical production details like bleeds, safe zones, color matching, finishes, label materials, and print limitations Bonus if you have experience with cosmetic packaging compliance in the U.S. What we’ll provide: Current product mockups and brand direction Logo/assets Product names and copy Manufacturer specs or dielines when available Reference packaging styles we like Deliverables: Refined packaging design system Final artwork for initial SKU lineup Print-ready files for manufacturer Editable source files Basic packaging guidelines for future SKUs Please include examples of cosmetic, skincare, beauty, or CPG packaging work, especially anything involving cylindrical labels, sticks, tubes, lip balms, deodorants, or small-format packaging.
