Packaging Designer (Woolworths Australia Experience Required) – Urgent 7 Day Project

We are a small Australian business looking for an experienced packaging designer with knowledge of Australian retail packaging requirements. Experience designing products for Woolworths Australia or other major Australian retailers is required. Project Overview We have an existing (baby electronics) product and existing packaging. We have the packaging die lines and require a new cardboard sleeve design that will fit around our current packaging. Scope of Work 1. Create professional retail-ready artwork for a cardboard sleeve using our supplied die lines. 2. Ensure the packaging design meets Australian retail packaging requirements and is suitable for Woolworths. 3. Prepare all artwork files for commercial printing. 4. Supply all final print-ready files, including editable source files. Preferred (but not mandatory) Ideally, the successful applicant will also have experience with GS1 barcodes and be able to assist with: * Creating and/or advising on GS1-compliant retail barcodes (GTIN/EAN). * Assisting with barcode setup and implementation. * Creating a second barcode for the outer carton/shipping packaging. * Providing guidance on any barcode requirements necessary for Woolworths acceptance. If you do not provide GS1 services but have strong retail packaging design experience, we would still love to hear from you. Requirements * Demonstrated experience designing retail packaging for products sold through Australian retailers. * Strong packaging design skills and attention to detail. * Experience preparing print-ready artwork. * Understanding of retail packaging requirements. * Ability to work quickly and communicate clearly.
