Packaging & Instruction Manual Design – DIY Smartwatch (Brand Licensed Product) We're looking for a skilled graphic/print designer to create the retail packaging (box) and instruction manual (booklet) for a new DIY smartwatch product. The product hardware and 3D design are already finalized — we now need the printed materials that ship with it, designed to match our brand licensing guidelines. What we need: - Design retail box packaging (dieline-ready artwork for all panels: front, back, sides, top, bottom) - Design an instruction manual / booklet (assembly steps, usage, safety info, specs) - Match brand licensing guidelines (colors, logos, typography, layout, tone) - Deliver clean, print-ready files in agreed formats What we provide: - Brand guidelines and licensing requirements - Vector assets, logos, and reference materials - Product photos/renders, technical specifications, and manual content (text, diagrams, step list) - Box dimensions and dieline template (or specs to build one) Requirements: - Strong portfolio of retail packaging and/or print collateral, ideally consumer electronics - Print production knowledge (dielines, bleed, CMYK, die-cuts, finishes) - Ability to design instructional/technical layouts that are clear and easy to follow - Ability to match a defined brand aesthetic from reference materials - Good communication and timely delivery Nice to have: - Experience with consumer electronics or toy/STEM/DIY kit packaging - Experience laying out multi-step assembly or instruction manuals - Illustration skills for assembly diagrams Deliverables: - Print-ready box artwork (source file + export, with dieline/bleed) - Print-ready instruction booklet (source file + export, correct page layout/imposition) - Packaged source files (Illustrator/InDesign or agreed format) plus PDFs - Revisions as needed to reach final approval Budget: $500 fixed price Please include relevant portfolio samples — especially retail packaging and instruction manuals/print layouts — when applying.
