Paid Ads Audit Needed for High-Spending DTC Ecommerce Brand
Worldwide
We’re looking for a senior paid media strategist to audit a high-spending DTC ecommerce brand across Meta Ads and Google Ads. This is not a basic account cleanup task. We need someone who can look at the full growth system and explain what went wrong, where spend is being wasted, what is limiting scale, and what should happen next. The brand has already spent significant money across paid channels. We want a clear, direct audit that covers both performance and strategy. Scope of work: 1. Review Meta Ads account structure, campaign setup, creative testing, audience strategy, bidding, budget allocation, attribution, and scaling approach. 2. Review Google Ads account structure, including Search, Shopping, PMax, branded search, non-branded campaigns, feed setup, conversion tracking, search terms, and budget allocation. 3. Identify what is working, what is broken, and what is being misread in the data. 4. Diagnose whether the issue is campaign structure, tracking, creative, offer, landing pages, product economics, or overall strategy. 5. Compare current performance against what should realistically be expected for a DTC ecommerce brand at this spend level. 6. Provide a clear next-step plan showing what should be fixed first, what should be tested next, and what should be stopped. 7. Deliver the audit in a practical format, preferably a written document plus a Loom walkthrough. We are not looking for generic advice like “test more creatives” or “optimize campaigns.” We need someone who can clearly explain the actual bottlenecks and give specific recommendations. Ideal candidate: You have direct experience auditing and scaling DTC ecommerce brands across Meta and Google. You understand creative testing, attribution issues, PMax, Shopping, MER, CAC, AOV, LTV, contribution margin, and how paid media connects to overall business performance. You can be direct and honest about what is wrong, even if the answer is not just inside the ad accounts. Please include: 1. Examples of DTC ecommerce accounts you have audited or managed. 2. Monthly spend levels you have worked with. 3. Your process for diagnosing performance issues across Meta and Google. 4. What you would typically review first in a high-spend ecommerce account that has stopped scaling or is underperforming. 5. Whether you can provide a Loom walkthrough with the audit. This is a focused audit project first. If the audit is strong, there may be ongoing work after.
