Paid Ads Demand Validation for Short Term CPAP Rental Service for Tourists in Malaysia
Worldwide
Project Overview I am exploring a new business concept involving short-term CPAP machine rental for Australian tourists and business travellers visiting Malaysia, especially Kuala Lumpur. At this stage, I am not launching the business yet and I do not own any CPAP inventory. The purpose of this project is purely to validate whether genuine customer demand exists before I invest in equipment, logistics or even a full operating website. I am looking for a freelancer who can run a small, focused demand-validation experiment using: * Google Search Ads * Meta Ads (Facebook / Instagram) * Keyword research * Simple landing-page setup * Lead form setup * Conversion tracking * Basic A/B testing * Lead-quality analysis THIS IS NOT a branding, SEO, social-media management, or business-plan project. The experiment should help determine: 1. Are foreign travellers visiting Malaysia genuinely interested in short-term CPAP rental, and will they submit an enquiry after seeing an indicative price of approximately 100AUD–170AUD A second objective is to determine which type of demand is stronger: 1. Planned rental before travelling 2. Emergency rental after arriving in Malaysia 3. Social-media discovery among travellers who were not actively searching for CPAP rental Proposed Offers to Test a) Offer A - Planned Travel Rental Example message or you can draft a better: Travelling to Kuala Lumpur? Short-term CPAP rental for international visitors. Up to 7 days: approximately 170AUD Hotel delivery concept available. b) Offer B-Emergency CPAP Replacement Example message: Forgot, lost or damaged your CPAP while travelling in Kuala Lumpur?** Short-term replacement CPAP service. From approximately 100AUD c) Offer C- Convenience / Social Discovery Example message: Travelling to Malaysia with CPAP Machine? Explore the option of having a CPAP available during your stay instead of carrying a full-size machine. The landing page must clearly state that this is a pre-launch concept and that users are submitting an availability enquiry rather than making a confirmed booking. Target Markets The initial validation should remain narrow because the advertising budget is limited. Google Campaign 1 - Advance Travel Demand Primary target country: Australia Target users with relevant CPAP + Malaysia travel intent. Google Campaign 2 - Emergency Demand Target users physically located around: Kuala Lumpur only These users may already be in Malaysia and urgently searching for CPAP rental or replacement. Meta Campaign-Discovery Test Primary target country: Australia The purpose is to test whether CPAP users / travellers respond to the concept even when they are not actively searching for CPAP rental. Please do not spread the budget across multiple countries unless there is a strong data-based reason to do so. Scope of Work 1. Keyword Research Research relevant high-intent Google Search keywords, including examples such as: * CPAP daily/weekly rental Malaysia * CPAP daily/weekly Kuala Lumpur * CPAP daily/weekly KL * rent CPAP Malaysia * travel CPAP Malaysia * CPAP rental KLIA * CPAP tourist rental near me * forgot CPAP Malaysia * CPAP replacement Kuala Lumpur * emergency CPAP rental * short-term CPAP rental Please identify additional relevant keywords based on actual search behaviour. Negative keywords should be added to reduce irrelevant traffic. 2. Create One Simple Landing Page The landing page does not need elaborate design. It should clearly explain: * Short-term CPAP rental concept * Targeted at tourists/visitors to Malaysia * Indicative pricing * Kuala Lumpur focus * Hotel delivery concept * Planned and emergency use cases * Pre-launch / validation status The main call-to-action should be: Check Availability or similar. Please use a low-cost landing page solution such as Carrd, Framer, WordPress, or another suitable platform. 3. Enquiry Form The form should capture: * Country of residence * Malaysia destination / hotel area * Arrival date * Number of rental nights * Whether the user already uses CPAP * Whether the user has their own mask * Reason for rental: * Planned travel * Forgot CPAP * CPAP damaged/broken * Lost luggage * Other * Email address and/or WhatsApp number No payment gateway is required. 4. Google Search Ads Setup Create two separate Google Search campaigns: Campaign A - Advance Travel Australia-based users with Malaysia-related CPAP search intent. Campaign B-Emergency Demand Users physically located in Kuala Lumpur searching for CPAP rental, replacement, or emergency solutions. The campaigns should remain separate so that we can compare demand clearly. 5. Meta Ads Setup Create a small Facebook / Instagram campaign targeting the Australian market. The objective is to test discovery demand, not just generate cheap leads. Possible angles include: * Travelling to Malaysia with CPAP? * Short-term CPAP rental for your Kuala Lumpur stay * What happens if your CPAP breaks while travelling? * Have a CPAP available at your hotel Please avoid optimising only for likes, engagement, or low-quality form submissions. The goal is qualified traveller enquiries. 6. Conversion Tracking Set up tracking so we can measure: * Ad clicks * Landing-page visits * Completed enquiry forms * Google vs Meta source * Campaign source * Cost per enquiry * Relevant keyword where available * Geographic source * Planned vs emergency demand GA4 and/or Google Tag Manager may be used where appropriate. 7. Price Validation The landing page should display realistic pricing. Suggested starting price: * Up to 3 nights: approximately **100AUD** * Up to 7 nights: approximately **170AUD** If feasible within the project scope, I would also like to test whether 190AUD for 7 days materially affects enquiry conversion. Please explain how you would conduct this test before implementing it. My total validation budget is limited. Freelancer Budget : approximately USD100 Please state clearly what is included in your proposal. Paid Advertising Budget Approximately: USD200 -USD300 The exact allocation may be adjusted slightly if you can justify it based on the campaign structure. Please do not recommend substantially increasing the budget before the first results are reviewed. Deliverables At the end of the project, I would like: 1. Keyword research 2. Simple live landing page 3. Enquiry form 4. Google Search campaigns configured 5. Meta campaign configured 6. Conversion tracking 7. Total advertising spend by platform 8. Total clicks 9. Landing-page visits 10. Total enquiries 11. Number of qualified enquiries 12. Cost per enquiry 13. Cost per qualified enquiry 14. Search terms producing enquiries 15. Google vs Meta comparison 16. Advance travel vs emergency demand comparison 17. Geographic source of leads where available 18. Pricing observations 19. Concise summary of what the data suggests I DO NOT need a long business report. I prefer raw data, screenshots, account access, and a short interpretation. Qualified Leads For this project, a qualified lead should ideally be someone who: * Is a foreign visitor or prospective visitor to Malaysia * Already uses or genuinely requires CPAP * Has an actual or approximate Malaysia travel date * Is considering a short-term rental * Has seen the indicative rental price * Provides enough information to demonstrate genuine interest A click, page visit, Facebook like, or generic “interested” submission SHOULD NOT be counted as a qualified lead. Ideal Freelancer Please apply if you have experience in: * Google Search lead generation especially in Australia * Meta/Facebook/Insta lead generation especially in Australia * Small-budget PPC testing * Market/demand validation * Landing-page conversion optimisation * GA4 / Google Tag Manager * Keyword research * Service-based businesses Experience with healthcare, tourism, travel, medical equipment, rental businesses, or niche-market testing would be useful but is not mandatory. I value good experimental thinking and accurate measurement more than elaborate creative work. Questions to Answer in Your Proposal Please answer all of the following: 1. Have you previously used paid advertising to validate a business idea before launch? Briefly describe one example. 2. With only USD200- 300 total ad spend, how would you divide the budget between Google Search and Meta? 3. Would you keep the advance-travel and emergency campaigns separate? Why? 4. How would you avoid counting low-quality Meta leads as genuine demand? 5. How would you determine whether Google or Meta provides stronger evidence of demand? 6. What landing-page platform would you use for this test? 7. How would you track completed enquiry forms back to the correct campaign and keyword/source? 8. How would you test 170AUD versus 190AUD pricing without making the experiment unnecessarily complicated? 9. Are you personally able to handle the landing page, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and conversion tracking? 10. What is your fixed fee for completing this scope? Important Please start your proposal with: **CPAP VALIDATION** This confirms that you have read the full project description. Generic proposals, social-media management packages, SEO proposals, or proposals focused mainly on branding WILL NOT be considered.
