Paid Media Account Manager (Google + Meta)
Worldwide
I run a lean, performance-focused paid media agency specializing in Google and Meta Ads. We're small by design — every hire carries real weight, and judgment matters more than headcount. The Role We're hiring a paid media operator to own a portfolio of client accounts across Google and Meta. This isn't a junior execution role — you'll be managing ad accounts and in some cases, a point of contact for clients who expect both technical competence and clear communication about what's happening in their accounts and why. A core part of this role is delivering client-facing strategic sessions as part of our Copilot program — walking non-technical founders and marketing leads through their account performance, decisions, and next steps in plain language. This is the single most important trait we're hiring for: the ability to teach, not just execute. What You'll Do + Manage day-to-day optimization, budgeting, and reporting across Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts +Serve as the primary client contact for a defined book of accounts, maintaining a low-drama, high-trust relationship Lead recurring client strategy calls, translating account data into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders + Deliver Copilot engagement sessions — structured, teaching-oriented walkthroughs designed for solo founders and lean marketing teams + Diagnose account issues (tracking, measurement, creative fatigue, funnel breakdowns) and propose fixes proactively rather than waiting to be asked + Collaborate with our internal specialists (creative, ops) to keep campaigns aligned with broader account strategy Maintain clean documentation and reporting standards across your accounts What We're Looking For + 3+ years of hands-on experience managing paid budgets across both Google Ads and Meta Ads (agency-side experience strongly preferred) + Demonstrated ability to explain complex account decisions to non-expert clients — this is not optional + Comfort owning accounts independently; we're not looking for someone who needs heavy oversight +Strong diagnostic instincts — you notice when something's off before the client does + Clear, calm written and verbal communication + Experience with attribution/tracking troubleshooting (UTMs, conversion tracking, pixel/CAPI setups) is a strong plus What Success Looks Like + Clients trust you and stay long-term because they understand what you're doing and why +Copilot sessions leave clients feeling more capable, not more confused + Accounts run steady-state with minimal escalation — problems get caught and solved before they become fires To apply, send a brief note on your Google/Meta experience and one example of a time you had to explain a technical account issue to a non-technical client.
