We run active, high-volume paid media across Google and Meta with significant weekly conversions, years of accumulated data, and clear targets for scale. We move fast, test constantly, and hold our media buying to a high-performance standard. The Role We’re looking for an expert-level individual or agency to own paid media buying and optimization across Google Ads and/or Meta Ads. This is a less than 6-months to long-term contractor engagement with the potential to evolve into full account management. You’ll work directly with our marketing leadership to manage spend, drive performance toward a specific CPA, and operate with the autonomy and accountability of a true expert — not someone who waits to be told what to do. What You’ll Own - Daily management of Google and Meta campaigns — budgets, bids, campaign structure, scaling, pausing underperformers, and reallocation; keep CPA, CPC, CTR, and ROAS on target and protect monthly spend trajectory - Search, Shopping, and PMAX on Google (PMAX is a priority); bid strategy, audience layering, and conversion optimization across all campaign types - Full Meta campaign lifecycle — funnel design, audience targeting, creative direction (reels, UGC, VSL, static), and A/B testing with structured iteration - Tracking and attribution across GTM, Meta Pixel, purchase events, and custom goals; troubleshoot issues and ensure numbers reconcile - Creative testing direction — identify winning angles, hooks, copy, and offer structures; no design required, but you need to know what to test and why - Post-click funnel awareness — advertorials, landing pages, upsells, CVR issues; flag problems and propose tests immediately - Weekly reporting on spend, CPA, revenue, ROAS, CTR, and CPC with clear explanation of what happened, why, and what’s next; maintain a live split-test tracking sheet Requirements Google Ads - Minimum $150k+/month managed specifically in Google Ads PPC - B2C and/or e-commerce industry experience required - Must be able to verify ad spend experience via screen share, references, or equivalent proof Meta Ads - Minimum $25k/month average over a 12-month period in Meta Ads spend - Proven ability to scale from minimal data to $25k+/month while maintaining performance - Deep working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager — audience targeting, bidding strategies, ad formats Both Platforms - Strong grasp of attribution, conversion tracking, and GTM - Experience with PMAX, Shopping, Search, and retargeting campaigns - Ability to direct creative production alongside internal teams and external agencies - Experience with health, wellness, or consumer goods verticals strongly preferred - Clear, proactive communicator — you surface issues and bring solutions without being prompted
