About the Role: We are a fast-growing digital marketing agency seeking a highly skilled, data-driven Paid Media Specialist to take ownership of our Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns. This is not an entry-level role. We're looking for a technical operator who can immediately step into live accounts, identify opportunities, resolve tracking issues, optimize campaign structures, and efficiently scale performance. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and obsessed with performance. You understand that successful media buying goes far beyond platform metrics—you know how to connect advertising performance to real business outcomes. Ideal Schedule: 9 am - 5 pm PST What You'll Own: • Meta Ads Management • Build, launch, and optimize Meta advertising campaigns • Implement and troubleshoot Conversion API (CAPI) • Conduct cost-cap and bidding strategy testing • Monitor and combat creative fatigue proactively • Optimize audience structures, placements, and campaign scaling Google Ads Management: • Structure and manage Search, Performance Max, and YouTube campaigns • Conduct keyword research and expansion • Maintain negative keyword lists and search term hygiene • Optimize asset groups, audience signals, and creative assets • Manage Smart Bidding strategies including tCPA and tROAS • Scale campaigns while maintaining profitability Tracking & Attribution: • Audit and troubleshoot tracking implementations • Configure and maintain Google Tag Manager (GTM) • Manage Google Analytics 4 (GA4) reporting and attribution • Maintain Meta Pixel and Conversion API integrations • Identify and resolve conversion discrepancies across platforms Performance Analysis & Reporting: • Analyze campaign performance and identify growth opportunities • Translate complex performance data into clear business insights • Evaluate blended marketing performance, not just platform-reported ROAS • Present actionable recommendations backed by data Requirements: Experience: • 3+ years of hands-on media buying experience • Proven success managing both Google Ads and • Meta Ads simultaneously • Experience managing at least $15,000+ in monthly ad spend • Strong portfolio of campaign optimization and scaling successes Technical Skills: • Expert-level Google Tag Manager (GTM) • Advanced Google Analytics 4 (GA4) • Meta Pixel and Conversion API implementation • Strong understanding of attribution modeling • Familiarity with server-side tracking concepts Communication: • Excellent written and verbal English • Ability to clearly explain performance changes and optimization decisions • Strong attention to detail and documentation Technical Requirements: • Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps) • Backup internet solution (mobile hotspot or equivalent) • Backup power solution (UPS, battery backup, or power station) • Professional remote work environment Who Thrives Here: • Self-starters who take ownership without being micromanaged • Problem-solvers who enjoy digging into technical challenges • Data-driven marketers who make decisions based on evidence • Operators who move quickly while maintaining accuracy • Individuals who are passionate about performance marketing and continuous improvement If you can walk into an account, identify what's broken, fix tracking, improve performance, and confidently explain why results changed, we'd love to hear from you.
