Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Part-Time Paralegal with strong commercial real estate expertise to support transactional and related legal work on a flexible schedule. This role is ideal for a self-directed professional who can manage drafting, due diligence, and closing support with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities • Draft, review, and revise commercial real estate documents including purchase and sale agreements, leases (office, industrial, retail, ground leases), amendments, estoppel certificates, SNDAs, assignments, and closing documents. • Conduct and organize due diligence: title review, survey analysis, zoning/compliance checks, environmental reports, UCC searches, and entity documentation. • Prepare closing checklists, coordinate with title companies, lenders, surveyors, and opposing counsel, and manage post-closing follow-up. • Assist with entity formation and maintenance related to real estate holdings (LLCs, etc.), including operating agreements and resolutions as needed. • Maintain organized electronic and physical files, track critical dates/deadlines, and support portfolio or transaction management. • Conduct basic legal research on commercial real estate matters under attorney supervision. • Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders, clients, brokers, and external parties. Required Qualifications • Minimum 3–5 years of paralegal experience focused primarily on commercial real estate transactions. • Strong working knowledge of commercial real estate documentation, closing processes, title issues, and standard due diligence practices. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems; experience with real estate-specific platforms (e.g., title software, deal rooms) is a plus. • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple matters under deadlines. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently in a part-time, remote or hybrid capacity with reliable availability during core business hours as needed. • Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred; bachelor’s degree a plus. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting commercial leasing portfolios or multi-property transactions. • Familiarity with Georgia real estate practices and forms (helpful but not required). • Prior experience in a law firm, corporate real estate department, or in-house legal team. • Knowledge of basic entity governance and commercial financing documents. Schedule & Arrangement • Part-time: approximately 15–25 hours per week (flexible based on deal volume and mutual agreement).
