We have an attorney-reviewed California estate planning document set and are expanding into additional U.S. states. Your role is to adapt our existing document package for each assigned state by identifying statutory differences and modifying the documents accordingly. This is not a draft-from-scratch project. Responsibilities Adapt our California master document set for assigned states. Research state-specific trust and estate planning requirements. Update the revocable living trust, pour-over will, durable power of attorney, advance healthcare directive, HIPAA authorization, and any supporting documents as required by state law. Source any state-specific statutory forms where applicable. Leave documents unchanged when no modifications are required. Document all material changes with supporting statutory citations. Flag issues requiring attorney judgment or clarification. Prepare a clean document package ready for attorney review. Deliverables (per state) Complete adapted estate planning document set. State-specific statutory healthcare forms or other required forms, where applicable. Clean versions of each document. A change log summarizing all modifications made. Statutory citations supporting each material change. A list of any unresolved legal questions for attorney review. Requirements Estate planning paralegal experience strongly preferred. Experience preparing trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Strong legal research skills. Comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency. Excellent written English and attention to detail.
